Company History

 

1975

Some entrepreneurs graduated from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) sharing the same idealism founded  PT. META EPSI (ME) responded to the government call to promote local engineering and construction services. At the initial stage, the company focused on rendering construction services.

For the next three decades, ME managed to enhance its capabilitiy to expand its business to infrastructure, oil, gas, petrochemical, and electricity projects. Today, the company has become one the fast growing and respectable company that caters for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services.

 

1995-2001

Closely related to its core business ME set up one of its prime projects dealing with high voltage (150 kilo volt) substation and transmission lines for the state-owned electricity company (PLN) built in West Java and Jakarta to bolster the growing demand for electricity supply.

 

2004 

ME did not only employ experienced personnel including engineers, project managers, supervisors, and supporting staff but was also equipped with modern facilities having complete work system procedures and certificates such as ISO 9001 1994/2000 awarded in 2000 and OHSAS for Safety and Health awarded in 2004. A long list of project successfully executed by ME is the evidence of company's capability of handling projects of any size.

As the result of hardwork, ME was awarded the Best Electrical Contractor Certificate by the AFEEC (ASEAN Federation of Electrical Engineering Contractors). and AKLI (Asosiasi Kontraktor Listrik dan Mekanikal Indonesia - Indonesian Association of Electricity Contractoirs and Mechanicals).

ME is also a founding member of the Association of Integrated Construction (EPC/EPSI) Services Providers (GAPENRI) and member of  AKI (Asosiasi Kontraktor Indonesia - Association of Indonesian Contractors).

 

2005 - Present

In Recent years ME has diverfied its business to cover plant operation and plant maintenance, palm oil plantation and project developer of independent power producer.
